My Hotmail Account has hacked two times, How to stop this Hacking?

Posted on 04:26 by Unknown

Hotmail, which was launched in 1996, continues to make advances in email security, but that doesn't mean it's impervious to hackers. Unwise email practices can leave you a target for e-criminals who want to use your email address to lure friends and family members into clicking on links for malware or entering personal information. By properly protecting your Hotmail address, you can ensure that your email address isn't a target for hackers. Everybody wants to be secure & private we are the technical department of Hotmail support we will provide you here some important point to have secure your account.

Read these points carefully: -

Choosing Password

·         Your password acts as the protection between you and hackers who want to hijack your email for their own purposes. Too often, passwords are far too easy to guess based on your name, interests, location and other variables. Some common and easy-to-guess passwords include "12345,"password" and even "qwerty." Simple passwords mean it's easy for hackers to guess and gain access to your Hotmail account. Instead, choose a password that is a combination of letters, numbers and symbols that cannot be directly traced to your name or location. Then, make a habit of changing your password each month to avoid hacking.
Protecting Email
·         When you post your email address irresponsibly around the Internet, hackers find your address and then can set to work trying to guess your email and hack into your account. By creating a junk mail account with Hotmail, you can keep your personal Hotmail address private. That way, when posting your email address in public forums or on website registrations, you can use your junk mail account that doesn't harbor private information that could be hacked.
Disguising Email
·         If you absolutely must post your email on public forums, disguise your email so it isn't easily recognized by hackers or spam bots. Simply typing your email out as sample@hotmail.com makes you a target for easily accessible hacking, but typing out each word, such as "sample at hotmail dot com," ensures that the email address isn't recognized by the tools that hackers use to scan the web for vulnerable email accounts. When your email is kept private, it's less likely to be targeted.
Resetting Password
·         Even when you take precautions, your account could still be hacked. When a hacker gains access to your Hotmail, one of the first things he will do is change your password to deny access. You can reset your password by using the "forgot your password?" Link on the sign-in page. Then, choose a password that is more difficult to guess. If your account has been accessed or failed access attempts have occurred on your account, Hotmail may ask for your cell phone number. Hotmail will then text you an access code which you can use to sign in for further protection.

I’m unable to send photo through my Hotmail account…..

Posted on 07:00 by Unknown

Attaching photos to an e-mail message lets you share your favorite pictures with friends and family. Hotmail accounts have limitations regarding file-attachment sizes, but you can send most photos with no problems. Initially, it appears there is no "Browse" or "Attach" toolbar to attach photos in Hotmail; however, the toolbar is available, it's simply hidden by default. Make sure the recipient is expecting photos. Photo attachments tend to be large, which can overwhelm e-mail accounts with small storage limits.

You have to follow these only 5 steps to send or forward photo through Hotmail account:

  1. Log-in to your Hotmail account. Click "New" along the top-navigation bar to begin composing a new message. Type the recipient's e-mail address and write your message.
  2.
Click "Attach" on the bar above the message (its right next to "Send"). This opens the Hotmail photo-upload tool beneath the subject line.
  1.
Click "Browse" to find the photo(s) you want to attach. Click on the photo and select "Open." You cannot select multiple photos at once.
  1.
Select "Browse" again to upload another photo, if desired. After uploading the photos, look above the subject line to find the attachment-file size. A maximum of 10MB can be attached to each message. If your uploaded photos exceed this, you cannot send the message.

  1.
Click the "X" in the corner of the attachment to delete photos, if necessary. Click "Send" to send the photos to the recipient.

Tips & Warnings

If your photos are too large, consider re-sizing them (see Resources). If you cannot fit all the photos into one message, create a new message immediately after sending the first one. Attach the remaining photos.

“What is the roll of trash in the Gmail and how to get back deleted mail with the help of trash?”

Posted on 03:34 by Unknown

Trash is just like Recycle Bin of your Gmail through it we can get back our deleted mail.
Deleting messages
You can either delete an entire conversation thread or one specific message from a conversation.
To delete an entire conversation thread:
1.       Open the message (or select the checkbox next to it).
2.       Click the Delete button. http://www.google.com/help/hc/images/mail/mail_delete.png
To delete a single message from a conversation thread:
1.       Open the conversation and find the message.
2.       Click the down arrow next to Reply, at the top right of the message pane.
http://www.google.com/help/hc/images/mail/mail_reply_arrow.png
3.       Click Delete this message.
Doing this will move the conversation thread or message to your Trash, which can be found on the left side of your Gmail page. (If you don't see Trash along the left side of your Gmail page, click the More drop-down menu at the bottom of your label list.)
Items in your Trash will remain there for approximately 30 days before it is automatically emptied and permanently deleted*.
If you’d like to permanently delete something yourself:
1.       Click your Trash label.
2.       Check the box next to the message you'd like to permanently delete.
3.       Click the Delete forever button.
How do I get something out of Trash?
You can retrieve something from Trash by clicking Trash, selecting the message in question, and clicking Inbox in the 'Move to' drop-down menu. Items that are permanently deleted can’t be retrieved.
*Please be aware, residual copies of deleted messages and accounts may take up to 60 days to be deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems for an additional period of time.
Blocking mail from certain senders
Sometimes you may get unwanted mail that isn't necessarily spammed.
While you can't currently block messages from specific addresses or domains, you can set up a filter to send those unwanted messages directly to Trash.
To set up a filter, follow these steps:
1.       Click the down arrow in your search box at the top of the page. A window that allows you to specify your search criteria will appear.
2.       Enter your search criteria. If you want to check that your search worked correctly, click the search button. Clicking the down arrow again will bring the window back with the same search criteria you entered.
3.       Click Create filter with this search at the bottom of the search window.
4.       Choose the action you'd like for these messages by checking the appropriate box. (In this case, we suggest checking "Delete it.")
5.       Click Create Filter.
